Staff Profiles
Alexander Awnings has been owned and operated by Scott Andres since March 2004. He’s been involved in A.A since 1983 as a student, working as a general labourer assisting in anything from cleaning to installing. Over the last 27 years he has worked his way up through the ranks. He has a working knowledge of every aspect of the business, from cleaning floors, cutting and sewing, installations, fabrication of framework, and sales. He now manages the installation and fabrication of his products, and oversees the day to day operations.
Dave Gossen has been a key member of the Alexander team as the lead sales person with over 10 years experience in the awning & sunroom industry. His practical experience on installations and his knowledge of our products are second to none. Dave ensures that each and every project is built in keeping with the customer’s wants and needs. This approach enables us to provide a solution that is both practical and aesthetically pleasing.
Allan Dale has been part of the A.A team for over 10 years. As lead installer, his responsibilities for a quality installation and a happy customer has been vital to customer satisfaction.
Jim Koski has over 10 years experience in most aspects of our company, his primary role is in the fabric production and sewing of our shade goods. He shares responsibilities in cutting, sewing and repairing most vinyl and fabric goods.
Kathy Dueck has been with A.A for 5 years and brought with her years of cutting and sewing expertise. Her creativity brings a fresh look to some unusual projects. She looks after the layout and cutting of our shade products.
Gilbert Lizotte has been involved with A.A for over 10 years. His key experience in sales and installation, has made him an expert with our Phantom Screen product. He is also heavily involved in the installation of our Betterliving sunrooms and our Craftbilt hard roof products. His attention to detail helps to ensure every customer is well taken care of.
Christopher Feere has been our lead hand in the custom welding shop for over 5 years. His desire to build the best structurally fabricated frames brings peace of mind to our customers. His knowledge of structural design and strength is a real asset in the fabricating shop.
Frank Andres has been an integral part of the growth and development of A.A. His experience is vast and is called upon as a consultant periodically to assist with the structural design of our larger projects. He now is a behind the scenes individual who is responsible for the maintenance of most equipment.
Rhonda Gossen is the newest addition to our team and has brought a wealth of experience in customer relations. Her responsibilities include customer service in our showroom and on the phone, bookkeeping, and general administration. She has definitely risen to the challenge of a steep learning curve.
Richard Strickland has been involved with A.A. for 3 years in the sales, service and installation of the Phantom product. He has also been involved in the erections of the Betterliving sunrooms and Craftbilt roof structures.
